Spring 2018 Fashion Trends for
Henley Regatta, Ascot and Spring Weddings

Hello! It’s finally the weekend. I hope your week has been wonderful and that you have even more fabulous plans ahead of you!

Speaking of things that are fabulous…

This week was the week for exploring what fashion trends for Spring have held up against early predictions. Are consumers actually buying what fashion shopists were expecting? Do we have any dark horse trends sneaking through that no one saw coming?

IS THERE IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT WE NEED TO MAKE AVAILABLE TO OUR DRESS SHOPPERS TO MAKE SURE THEY’RE INVESTING IN THE ULTIMATE DRESS BUYING EXPERIENCE?!?!?!

(gasp, cough) Sorry, got a little carried away there. It happens sometimes. Before I wander down another rabbit hole of over-exuberance, let’s talk about the 2018 fashion trends you’re going to want to be aware of when shopping for this Spring and Summer’s special events.

Combining the best of two worlds, this pastel floral from Barker & Pattichis is a timeless classic.

Lavender

Pretty in purple is always a popular theme when Spring rolls around. With its sheer diversity, from deep to pastel, lavender is the colour scheme making a splash on mainstream fashion.

Ruching

All the body shaping without all the discomfort. Do I really need to say anything else?

Asymmetrical Necklines

While not popular at more formal events, the asymmetrical neckline is a pretty and unique fashion statement for casual events and wedding guests.

Feathers

Saint Laurent and Maison Margiela made a splash with these avian accessories, which are making a reappearance in hats and other accessory items as well as dresses, skirts and shirts.

And finally…

Floral

A classic that ebbs and flows depending on year and season, a floral dress will ALWAYS be an excellent addition to your wardrobe.
