Please note that our current winter opening hours are 10.30am to 4pm (approx.) on weekdays and 10am to 4.30pm (approx.) on Saturdays unless otherwise stated above.

In order to give you the best possible personal service, APPOINTMENTS ARE PREFERRED.

Winter’23/ Spring’24

For Winter/Spring there is a wide choice of fabrics. Crepe is always a popular fabric, so easy to wear and almost crease resistant. A stretch taffeta fabric gives a luxurious look and the stretch is ideal on a straight shift style dress. Floaty chiffons are ideal if you want a dress with a floaty style skirt, easy to sit down in as well as for dancing at the Evening Reception.

Couture Club by Rosa Clara – a lovely Spanish collection, provides us with a wonderful selection of stunning dresses & 2-piece suits. The crepe suits are often 2-tone, which makes it easier to match up accessories.

Our dresses from Irresistible include slightly darker colours in Teal and Navy. There are also Silver & Navy and Pale Pink & Navy combinations. There is a choice of a shift style dress or an A-Line dress with a dipped back hemline.

Our Irish-based brand Lizabella offers a collection of younger dresses and suits. This competitively-priced collection offers modern styles with a classic twist, with dresses in crepe & damask type fabrics plus suits that are made up in crepe & chiffon.

We have hand-painted silk fabrics from the Lewis Henry collection, with a 3-piece skirt suit or a 3-piece trouser suit available in numerous fabulous colours. Silk is ideal for any climate.

A great stylish dress by Luis Civit can be found in our Spanish Collection. A top-selling dress for us all-year-round is the shift style plain dress, which has an attached cape. There is diamante edging around the cape to bring a bit of sparkle to your Special Occasion! Although the Navy colour is popular all year round, there is also a good choice of lighter colours.

Barker & Pattichis provide us with an all-year-round collection in the form of a stretchy mesh-type fabric with a plain lining. The collection consists of a simple dress with a flattering shape and an elbow length sleeve, as well as a sleeveless dress & shrug suit. There is an ever-changing selection of colourways, ideal for Summer weddings plus darker colourways that would be ideal for an Autumn or Spring Wedding. All very competitively priced at approx. £169 & £269.

Appointments & COVID-19 Safety

The health & safety of our customers & staff remains our overriding priority given the close proximity of the personal service that we offer. We continue to do everything possible to ensure this, both before and during your visit, whilst maintaining our high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Appointments Preferred

To avoid disappointment and overcrowding in our shop, we strongly recommend that you make an appointment in advance. Appointments are 1 hour in duration.

To check availability and book an appointment, simply click here, or when browsing our website use the button at the top of each page or next to the price of a particular outfit you are interested in. Due to the limited number of appointment slots, you may only have one appointment active in our booking system at a time. As cancellations do arise, please check our online booking system regularly if you require an earlier appointment. Alternatively, please give us a call on 01628 528877 and we will be happy to assist you with your appointment booking.

A member of our staff will telephone you ahead of your appointment to discuss your requirements.

Having made your appointment, if you or any of your guests subsequently feel unwell or show signs of the primary COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature or shivering; a new, continuous cough; a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste), please CANCEL your appointment immediately (using the link in the e-mail that confirmed your appointment) and look to re-book with us at a later date.

On the day of your appointment – if you are running late, please telephone us on 01628 528877 to let us know and we will try our best to accommodate you.

COVID-19 Safety

In order to maintain safety and personal well-being, we are continuing with a number of COVID-19 safety measures that were implemented during the pandemic.

We aim to minimise the number of customers being served simultaneously, especially in our fitting area. However, our next customer may be browsing our extensive range of merchandise towards the end of your appointment period and, at busy times, customer appointments may inevitably overlap in the fitting area.

Due to the close proximity of the personal service that we offer, if you would like our staff to wear a mask whilst serving you, they are happy to do so. Should you require one, disposable masks are available for customers who do not have their own.

Upon entry to our shop, you / your guests will be invited to sanitise your hands. Our staff can provide additional sanitiser during your time with us if required.

Please be mindful of the 1-hour time limit when choosing outfits to try on.

You may bring with you a maximum of 2 guests, each of whom must be aged 16 or over. Where a guest does accompany you, we are happy for them to assist you in/out of outfits if this is your preference.

We understand and appreciate that you may wish to show other family and friends the outfits you try on. For those who do not accompany you, we have free Wi-Fi available so you can use Facetime, WhatsApp, Zoom, social media, etc. to show them the outfits on your short-list.

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide shoes for you to wear in the fitting area – please bring suitable shoes with you.

Our washroom/WC, fitting rooms, door handles, rails and surfaces that customers come into contact with (including the credit/debit card terminal) are cleaned and sanitised several times each day.

Our preferred method of payment is by credit/debit card. Please note that we do NOT accept American Express cards.

Despite these measures, please be assured that we will continue to make your visit to No. 25 of Bourne End an enjoyable experience.
